We have a range of intensive driving courses that help you to pass quickly. We have a great deal of experience with these courses and find them to be very successful, cost effective and a great way to learn to drive.

We don´t have a specific 'off-the-shelf´ intensive driving course, because we believe each learner´s needs are different - you may need to learn to drive for a job or before you go to university or you may decide that you dont want to take months learning to drive, if so an intensive course could be for you

10 Hour Intensive Course

This course is ideal for someone who may have just failed a driving test.

Alan will check your driving standard and will work with you to improve your driving skills. Common mistakes that often fail test candidates can be identified and corrected quite easily by Alan.

The failed test candidate course is for 10 hours and is arranged to suit you and fit around your needs.

There is no set time span, but it is usually best taken in the week before a retest.

Please book early as this course is always oversubscribed.

This course can be taken in a manual or automatic car.

20 Hour Intensive Course

A course suitable for those with recent experience with an instructor . . .

This course is suitable for those who have already had at least 15 hours of recent tuition and who want to complete their training in a shorter time period

The 20 hour course will suit those students who have good car control and have been happy driving in medium traffic.

Manoeuvres would have been practised to a fair standard. Traffic signs, lights and road markings will be understood on what they mean to the driver. Forward planning on who has priority with independent decision making improving

The 20 hour course can be taken over a week or more, its totally up to you.

 

30 Hour Intensive Course

The 30 hour intensive driving course is ideal for a student with around 10-15 hours of tuition with a driving instructor.

30 hour students will normally be able to control the car before commencing this driving course, being able to move off at junctions with confidence.

Roundabouts are now becoming easier, and driving would be in light traffic and starting with heavier traffic. The driving test manoeuvers would have been started and being practiced. Students should now have an understanding of most traffic signs and road markings and be able to identify them

 

The course includes:

29 hours of top quality 'one to one' driving lessons.

The use of the tuition vehicle for the DSA test

 This course is outstanding value

40 Hour Intensive Course

This course is for people at the start of their driving career.

They may have already started learning and have around 5 hours practice with a driving instructor or family member driving in a car park practicing steering, clutch control when moving away, braking and stopping. Some gear changing may also have been tried on a road with little traffic.

We do not suggest doing longer than 4 hours driving a day as you will become over tired..

This is a full driving course suitable for a complete beginner, and includes all the training needed by an average learner to be fully prepared for the DSA driving test

The course includes:

 39 hours of top quality 'one to one' driving lessons.

The use of the tuition vehicle for the DSA test

 

FAQ's about intensive driving lessons

Q. Can I take my Theory Test and Practical Test in the same week?

Yes, Theory is taken at the start of the week but it also allows us to give you training if required to prepare you for the test. Once the theory test is passed the practical test is booked for the final day of your course.

Q. How many Theory test attempts do i get?

You get one attempt at the test. The only course that there is a possibility of a second attempt is the 10 day course. So, you have to help us to help you by studying before you start the course. Remember that a practical test cannot be taken or booked until a theory test is passed.

Q. What happens if I have already passed my theory test?

Firstly well done, with the pressure of your theory out of the way you can now purely concentrate on your driving. This is a great position to be in!

Q. What does the price include?

Our prices are for the driving element only. We can book the theory test and practical tests for you and that will cost just the additional DSA fees.

Q How do I book ?

Courses can be easily booked by calling our booking line on 0845 519 1585 or by booking online.

Q How do I pay?

We accept all major debit/credit cards, we also accept cheque payments, postal orders and bankers drafts. To secure a booking we will need a £200 deposit, balance is payable before training begins.

Q Do you guarantee a pass?

Any company offering a guaranteed pass or pass bond are using the word GUARANTEED to get your attention to encourage you to book with them. NO ONE can guarantee a pass. The actual test is up to you to pass on the day. We would love to guarantee a pass, but in reality that's not realistic.

Q What if I fail?

If unsuccessful on your driving test the DSA state you must wait 10 working days before you re-sit the test again. By this time you have returned back home. We would be more than happy to re-schedule a new test at your chosen test centre for a time that suits you.

Q Is it shared tuition?

No, its totally one on one. This is the best way to learn and produces the best results.

Q Are your Instructors fully qualified?

We only use fully qualified Instructors, highly trained professionals who keep all their training methods up to date. Our driving instructors are graded either 5 or 6, which is amongst the top 10% of all driving instructors.

Q On Residential Driving Courses Can I bring a friend/partner with me?

Yes, there will be a B & B charge for this service with the Hotel and notice must be given. The New Forest, Hampshire and Yorkshire all have lots of local attractions to visit during your stay. Why not combine a holiday and learning to drive.

Q Do you do Automatic intensive driving courses?

A Yes, the price of the automatic courses are higher though due to the expense of the vehicle used. Please call for details.
